The Case for Guy
Guy Gentner, MLA for North Delta since 2005, is our choice for Leader of the BCNDP and Premier of British Columbia.
As a Delta city councillor, and MLA, and opposition critic for Intergovernmental Relations in the BCNDP caucus, Guy has demonstrated time and again that he has what it takes to stand up for ordinary British Columbians. As part of his commitment to communicating with his constituents and citizens across the province, he hosts a popular radio program, Live from the Leg.
New Democrats from across BC are expressing concern that they're losing control of their own party. Decisions seem to be made by Carole James and her staff without regard for the views of the elected caucus and the party grassroots. Guy will be a different kind of leader – a leader who listens, a leader who never talks down to New Democrats or to taxpayers. And he'll be a premier who will make us all proud to be BCers again.
